Is it just me or is it the height of irony when the party that has increasingly come to represent the wealthiest, the whitest, and the most bigoted elements of society goes around accusing other people of being "elitists"

The whole 'Pot vs. Kettle' thing rages on


So yesterday, as i am sitting at home alternately reading the latest installment in Stephen King's Dark Tower series, i tune across CNN Headline News making mention of some allegations that Sy Hersh is leveling at the Bush Administration's iteration of The Pentagon involving covert missions into Iran to identify potential NBC targets (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) for advance targeting as a precursor to a potential invasion.


What struck me as funny was that the White House, in the same article, blasted Hersh's piece as being "riddled with inaccuracies" and ShitWhite House Communications Director Dan Bartlett has the nerve to say
"I don't believe that some of the conclusions he's drawing are based on fact,"


Funny, Dan, that sounds a lot like what we can say about your rationale for going into Iraq, if you want to go there, asshat.


By the way, Danny-boy, how's that WMD search going?
